About Preventative Medical Clinic

Justin Kohll, president of Preventative Medical Clinic (PMC), has been a practicing pharmacist for more than 35 years. His passion is to help others feel and look their best, now and 20 to 30 years from now. Because of this desire, he created Preventative Medical Clinic to help women and men with hormone replacement therapy, medically-supervised weight loss, and aesthetic services.

PMC includes 2 clinics, in Omaha and Millard, with a staff that has grown from 1 employee in 2007 to 13. We’re especially proud of our designation as an Allergan-Certified Expert Black Diamond practice, recognizing the experience and expertise of our injectors.

Justin’s experience and expertise have been recognized by the Nebraska Pharmacists’ Association, which honored him with the prestigious Innovative Pharmacy Practice Award in 2009.

Those innovations included:

• Being the first pharmacy in the nation to incorporate a medical clinic with a provider licensed to prescribe bio-identical hormones to patients, along with weight-loss and aesthetic services
• Starting Kohll’s respiratory business, becoming the first pharmacy to employee a licensed respiratory therapist to manage the treatment of referred patients

Justin’s lifestyle reflects his belief in living your best life, as he spends as much time as possible outdoors and exercising. He and his wife have 4 children.

Founded in 1948: From the Kohll Family to Your Family (Our Story)

In 1948, Louis and Leona Kohll opened a small pharmacy in Omaha, Nebraska at Leavenworth Street and Park Avenue.

Unable to afford employees, the couple managed to keep the store open from early morning until late night seven days a week. They depended on their teenage son, Marvin, to deliver prescriptions and run other errands.

The Kohll family soon earned the trust and confidence of Omaha physicians and their patients. Personal service and dedication to the health needs of Omaha and vicinity became the hallmark of the pharmacy. Justin Kohll established Preventative Medical Clinic in 2007 based on his vision to provide the latest treatments to help patients feel and look their best.

Kohll’s is a substantially larger and much different endeavor as it observes more than 70 years of dedicated service to thousands of people.
