Sherri Griggs, APRN

Sherri Griggs, Board Certified Nurse Practitioner, earned her Masters in Nursing with an emphasis on Adult Primary Care. She is passionate about educating her patients about bio-identical hormone replacement therapy and what it can mean for their quality of life.

Sherri has completed an extensive training program through the BHRT Academy and has personally trained with the medical director Deb Matthew. Deb is well known in the hormone replacement community having published books on the subject, and spoken throughout the United States and been an expert on shows like Dr. Oz and Oprah. Sherri is an active student at the Institute of Bio-Identical Medicine, where she continues to add to her appreciable knowledge-base regarding hormone therapy and endocrinology.

Sherri is a member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M), the Institute of Bioidentical Medicine (IOBIM), and the Institute of Functional Medicine.

A Personal Journey

Sherri’s journey with bioidentical hormones started in 2005 after having a complete hysterectomy in 2003 at a young age. She had already been in the nursing field for nearly 20 years at this time and knew that living without the important hormones that were lost during surgery she would suffer uncomfortable and life altering symptoms. After much research she was able to find the one provider that offered bioidentical hormones in the Omaha area. Her own journey with BHRT inspired her to learn more about the subject and help women in need.
