Dr. Liz Lyster, Women's Midlife Health Expert, is on a mission to help women and men feel their best so they can do their best — and she has zero interest in the version of "aging gracefully" that just means quietly disappearing.
As a Board Certified OB/GYN for over 35 years, Dr. Liz has helped women and men increase their energy, reignite their sex drive, fix hormonal imbalances that other doctors shrugged off, and lose hundreds of pounds — for good. She's the author of several books, including Dr. Liz's Easy Guide to Menopause: 5 Simple Steps to Balancing Your Hormones and Feeling Like Yourself Again and the International Bestseller Go for GREAT: Dr. Liz's Guide to Thrive at Every Age.
She graduated from Cornell with honors, went to medical school at UC Irvine, and completed her OB/GYN residency in Los Angeles — she then added a Master's in Public Health from UCLA in Community Health Education. Dr. Liz is currently in private practice in the San Francisco Bay Area and online, working with patients who are done being told everything looks "normal" when it clearly isn't.
Dr. Liz doesn't just preach this — she lives it. She marked turning 50 by climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro, because apparently birthdays are better with altitude. She's logged thousands of hours as a leader, participant, and volunteer in personal development work since she was 19 — she doesn't just believe in growth, she's passionate about it. Mom to two grown sons, she spends her free time hiking and dancing Argentine tango — because life, like tango, is better when you stop leading with fear and start leading with presence. - Email: drlizlyster@yahoo.com

I spent three decades as an OB/GYN watching the same pattern repeat. Women came to my office with questions their regular doctors wouldn’t answer. Or worse, they’d been given wrong information. Worst of all, they’d been told their symptoms were just things they had to live with. That last one always hit hardest. Because when I dug deeper, I discovered Read more...
