Break Free From Menopause – Day 2: Thyroid Health

Break Free From Menopause – Day 2: Thyroid Health

This is day two of break free from menopause. Today is all about thyroid health. Boosting our metabolism, getting some happier moods, making your hair more gorgeous and getting our skin more gorgeous is all part of having a happy thyroid. Of course energy is always a huge side benefit and there’s one more. Our motivation! Our motivation is influenced by thyroid health, which has a lot to do with libido, and we’ll talk about that later. So I’m really excited to share about thyroid health because we talk a lot about thyroid health and it’s for good reason. It’s because our thyroid actually is responsible for almost everything that happens in the body and we tend to really relate with the fact that our thyroid is either functioning well or it’s not. Unfortunately it’s hard to get support around thyroid function unless your thyroid is really dysfunctional. Unless your TSH is very, very high it will most likely go unnoticed by your doc. The top range is for TSH is 3.0 for some docs, but for a lot of docs it’s still 5.0 and above, which means that you are in really bad shape by the time you get support.

So, especially in perimenopause and then going into menopause, so many women need extra support and it’s actually been shown now that most people, men and women as we age can really benefit from extra thyroid support. This is Robin Nielsen and we are going to break free from Menopause Syndrome so we can actually rock menopause. Last time we talked about the symptoms of Menopause Syndrome and I want to make sure that you listen to day one, so that you grab all of those symptoms because they’re really important. They’re basically saying that what you’re experiencing does not have to be. Remember if you have any symptoms you’re experiencing that don’t feel fabulous, I want to make sure that you work on fixing them because you deserve to feel fabulous and menopause is no reason why you shouldn’t. Hot flashes, night sweats, irritability, weight gain and you know, all those things that seem to happen as we go from our 40s and 50s and 60s we think are normal and they’re are actually very common, but they’re not normal. It’s just sort of become the state of our being, so I’m sending you lots of love for some great healing and some great information so that you can become the CEO of your own health.

We’re going to stop giving away our power to someone else to heal us. We are going to do it ourselves. Because any chronic health condition you have, you can actually heal yourself. I don’t think there are too many that we can’t. So just know that almost everything can heal. I’m actually a living example of that.
